On Tuesday, January 20, teachers will hand out a set of wired headphones for each student to use. To assist the implementation of our cell phone policy, each student is expected to use the school-issued wired headphones during school hours, and not airpods &/or personal headphones that fit over the ear.

A Note from Mrs. Smith, one of our CCHS Counselors
Incoming juniors and seniors for the 2026-2027 school year may enroll in a select number of courses FOR FREE during the summer. You do need to get parent permission in order to enroll in a class. Enrollments are first come, first served and classes can fill quickly so schedule an appointment with your school counselor if you are interested! Registration closes Friday, March 27th.
A Note from Mrs. Smith: NIACC Regional Career Center
We will be taking interested sophomores and juniors to the NIACC Regional Career Center to tour their four academies: Advanced Manufacturing, Construction Trades, Health Careers, and Business. This is on Tuesday, February 17th at 1:30pm and the deadline to sign up is Wednesday, February 11th. Schedule an appointment with your school counselor if you are interested in joining! Parents, please reach out to your student's school counselor if you wish your student does not sign up for this field trip.

On Thursday, January 29th, sophomores will be participating in the Youth Frontiers Respect Retreat . Youth Frontiers (YF) is a nonprofit organization that has been delivering retreats to schools since 1987. They provide schools with experiences that inspire character, civility and community so that our next generation of leaders is grounded in character. On the Respect Retreat, the YF Programs Staff will focus on creating a more positive school community by engaging students in a variety of activities that enhance self-confidence, empathy and connectedness.
