May 26 and 27 - Final tests/projects and CHROMEBOOK TURN IN

May 27 - Last Day of Classes - 2:00 Dismissal

    STUDENT AND PARENT/GUARDIAN NEWS

    CHROMEBOOK ROLL-IN

All school-issued Chromebooks will be collected on or before May 27.

Please make sure you return the following items:

    • Chromebook
    • Charger

If any items are missing, fees will be added to your student account:

    • Chromebook: $174
    • Charger: $25

Students who need to keep their Chromebooks over the summer for a class are allowed to do so. If you need to keep your Chromebook, you must notify your homeroom teacher before May 27.

Thank you for your cooperation and help with the Chromebook collection process.

    FINALS - MAY 26 & 27

As the school year comes to an end, student success, more specifically, student attendance, remains a priority. ALL teachers are giving finals on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27th. These final assessments are an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned during the second semester. Due to the importance of our finals, the projects/assessments are calculated as 10% of the student's overall second-semester grade. Students are expected to be in school and complete their finals on May 26th and May 27th. If students choose to be absent on these days, they will receive a zero for their final. Parents are asked to reach out directly to our principal, Levi Miller, or Associate Principal, Susan Johnson, to make them aware of any unforeseen circumstances that may occur, which will prevent the student's attendance on those days.

    ATTENDANCE NOTE

If students are not in their assigned class and are instead in another location (Ms. Klinkel’s, Mrs. Haglund’s, another teacher’s classroom, the hallway, etc.) without a pass — which is dated correctly and signed by a teacher — they will receive a 60-minute detention. This detention will be served on the same day the student is not where he/she should be during the school day. This detention will take precedence over any after-school activities, including track and clubs.

    LUNCH RELEASE

Just a reminder that juniors may not leave campus for lunch if they are failing a class, or if they have received a tardy or unexcused absence on that day.

    TECHNOLOGY REMINDER

Students may not bring their personal computers to school to use. This policy is clearly stated in our 1:1 student handbook (bottom of page 10) as well as being included in a school board policy (605.6 Regulation). Students who use their personal computers at school will receive a Telecommunications Violation.
