ATTENDANCE NOTE
If students are not in their assigned class, and are instead in another location (Ms. Klinkel’s, Mrs. Haglund’s, another teacher’s classroom, the hallway, etc.) without a pass--that is dated correctly and signed by a teacher--they will earn a 60-minute detention. This detention will be served on the same day the student is not where he/she should be during the school day. This detention will trump any after school activities, including track and clubs.
SENIOR LUNCH RELEASE
Just a reminder that seniors may not leave campus for lunch if they are failing a class OR if they have received a tardy or unexcused absence on that day.
TECHNOLOGY REMINDER
Students may not bring their personal computers to school to use. This policy is clearly stated in our 1:1 student handbook (bottom of page 10) as well as being included in a school board policy (605.6 Regulation). Students who use their personal computers at school will receive a Telecommunications Violation.
STUDY TABLES
Study Table has started, and will be held every other Wednesday in the Library from 2:05 to 3:30. A teacher may refer you to the Study Table if you are struggling in their class. If you want a quiet place to study or do homework, this is a perfect opportunity. A teacher may refer you to the Study Table if you are struggling in their class. Study Table will be held every other Wednesday. The dates for the rest of the second Semester are:

NIACC course registration for the Fall of 2026 opens on Tuesday, March 31st and closes Thursday, April 23rd. To register for NIACC classes, students must book a meeting with their school counselor. Students can find an email with more information from Mrs. Smith on March 27th.

Monday, 4/6 - Reading Tuesday, 4/7 - Writing Wednesday, 4/8 - No Testing Seniors report at regular time. Thursday, 4/9 - Math Friday, 4/10 - Science

Step 3:
● Will occur after collecting data for an additional three weeks
● A student will be on Step 3 if he/she has earned an additional five tardies and/or an the additional five unexcused absences
● Communication will be sent to student, parents, &/or guardians that the student is on Step 3
Juniors - Turn in your money from DQ Booklet Sales ASAP
